It is with great pleasure to share that NEA will be easing restrictions on key life events such as wakes and funerals. The following will be effective starting from August 4th 2020 ( 04/08/2020 )

• Attendees at funeral wakes, shall be kept to thirty (30) persons or fewer at any one time, subjected to venue’s capacity limit based on safe management principles, whichever is lower

• Foot Processions, burial and cremations shall be attended by not more than thirty (30) persons in total – excluding funeral and religious workers, who must be kept to a minimum

• NEA will issue 30 entry passes for each cremation/burial application at the government-manged facilities

• Existing safe management measures for wakes and funerals will continue to apply.
  – Wearing of mask at all times
  – Keep apart 1 metre away from any other individual
  – Maximum of 5 person per group
  – Temperature taking for everyone attending funeral wake or funeral services
